Way back in 2008, while shopping in East Nashville with friends, I found a cute little kitchen store and in this cute little store, with all its fancy pots and culinary bits and pieces, was a display of herbal teas and coffees in big glass jars. Reading the ingredient labels, one herbal tea caught my eye, Good Morning, a blend of eucalyptus, rosemary, spearmint and licorice and I thought, as I so frequently do, "what a wonderful soap that would make." I bought two ounces of that Good Morning Blend and then steeped it in filtered rainwater. I chose organic essential oils of Rosemary, Eucalyptus, Spearmint, Basil and Bergamot along with organic extra virgin olive oil, organic coconut oil, organic certified sustainably harvested palm oil, organic unrefined shea butter, and vitamin E. And yes, it does indeed make a wonderful soap.
